A two-year project, whereby Squint/Opera was tasked to create the media content for the new permanent Holocaust Galleries. We worked closely with the IWM curatorial team and exhibition designer, Casson Mann, to create an exhibition that presents a dark and complex episode of human history in a sensitive, engaging, and accessible way.

my role

As creative director, I worked right from the beginning in defining the creative concepts for over 30 exhibits. The Holocaust Galleries are updated every 10 years, so creating content that would engage generations now and in the future was a key challenge for me.

Throughout the project, I directed a variety of artists to bring to life the stories and narratives of each exhibit. These exhibits ranged from, 2D/3D animation, video edits, and archive films.
